New granddaughter announcement!!

Hey everyone. Just wanted to announce that my daughter, Linette, had her baby over a week early on November 24. Her name is Anna Gabrielle and she is beautiful. She weighed 6lbs, 4 ozs and is 18 inches long. She has dark hair and a lot of it. She looks just like her daddy and is just a cute as a button. Big sister Kelly is beside herself with joy as well. Kelly is four and a half years old.

So I am at my daughter's house helping out and haven't been on the forum for the last week or so. My pain level has been higher with all the standing and walking I have been doing, but the joy is getting me through.

Congratulations. I do know the joy of a new grandaughter. There is nothing like it.
They smell sooooo good. I have two of my own. One will be 4 in a couple of
weeks and the other just turned two. Christmas shopping is fun. They're not
expensive .... yet.

Lindaloo- I am BEYOND ecstatic for you! I wish I could have kids...... they are so precious! I wish we could see pictures! :( Congrats on the new addition! SO happy for you and your family!

CONGRATULATIONS!! That is wonderful news! And what a beautiful name! Enjoy your time, but try to be a little careful so as to not create too much extra pain for yourself.

Big sister is about the right age to "help" her Mom, too!

I am so glad for you Linda. What a blessing it is that you can be with your family and watch the little ones grow. Do take care of yourself, though!

Oh Linda there is nothing like having those grand babys, they are so precious. Enjoy your time while there because they grow so fast. Congrats to you & the family. Susie

Thanks for all the lovely replies. I really appreciate the well wishes. And I will take it easy as much as possible PaLady. Big sis is wonderdul. My other daughter, Jill, came up from south florida to help out too, so it's been really wonderful for me having ALL my girls.

Lindaloo, That is so perfect...a new grandaughter, a new "little" person in this world. Anna Gabrielle is a lucky girl to have such a sweet GRANDMA..congratulations to your daughter and her family.. ,

I just found out that my dear mother in law passed away in her sleep yesterday morning. She was ailing for sone time now. I know she is happy being with her husband and all her loved ones. She will be sorely missed, Too bad that Anna will never get to know her.

I'm so sorry. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. At least she is out of pain & lived long enough to see the birth of Anna.

Linda,I am feeling your sorrow that must be bittersweet, along with the joy of a new life, you also suffer a terrible loss. I am so sorry..my regards to you and your family. May your mother in law rest in peace

You certainly have my sympathies about the loss of your mother in law. At least it sounds like it was a peaceful passing. I hope you can find some comfort as you cuddle Anna, althoughI know that is bittersweet.
