Test Rusults for Addison's Disease

Hi everyone,   I hope everyone is happy and doing well today. On Thursday I had what my doctor called a Cortrosyn stimulation test done and got the results yesterday, here are the results along with the range that they should be.   Test results-Fasting specimen  ***8:25am my results were 3.7*** ***Reference range 6-28***   30 minutes post Cortrosyn   ***8:55am my results were 6.8***   ***Reference range 18-20 or higher*** he said after the stimulation my number should have at least doubled, so it's definite now, I do have Addison’s disease, at least now I no why I've felt so incredibly horrible for so long. Hi Susie,   Thank you for your response and support. When I talked to the doctor he said he’s gonna keep everything the same for now because I’ve been feeling really well on the dose I’m on Prednisolone 5mg in the am 2.5 at night, the only thing he did was call in an emergency needle which he told me to use if I get really nauseated, he said that’s the first sign of a crisis. I also ordered a medical alert bracelet which he told me to get and where all the time. Thanks again for your support and I’ll keep you updated on how it all turns out. Take care and Best wishes. Hi Andrea,   Thank you for your reply and concern, you know the crisis is the one thing that truly scares me because I have no idea what I’m looking for, I guess I have to sit down and read and really try to comprehend what I’m reading, which is very hard when my memory seems to be failing me right now.
