Hey Gang,

 

For some that did not see Karen's recent response to a post she indicated that she had suffered another stroke. Karen stated she is having  problems all relating to this stroke, She does read our posts but typing is difficult for her right now. I felt the need to get this out here and I do not think many of us were aware of Karen's situation at all.

 

So, Karen this is post is for you to know that your extended CP family is behind you 500% in your recovery from this stroke. I was saddened to read about the stroke, however, I do know you are a very strong lady and you will make your way back. We will be praying for you to have a quick recovery and with your permission of course, I would like to add your name to some prayer lists. I have found prayer in numbers can be very powerful and healing. If you can type (Susie yes or no) I will know what to do.  

 

If at all possbile I would like very much to keep this thread going for Karen to come to and read. Karen do you have a family member that could perhaps come once a week to the forum and give us an update until you are back on your feet?

 

Just wanted you to know I am thinking of you. Many hugs and prayers coming your way. Susie

awww I didn't know that Karen had a stroke! I am sending out healing thoughts and gentle hugs for a speedy recovery Karen!! I too will add you to my prayer list if that is okay with you. You're a great gal and I sure hope that you heal real fast.

Karen, when it seems to get tough, remember that you are not alone. We are with you in thought and prayer. You don't have to post in order for us to continue thinking good thoughts of you. We hope that as you read these, you will know that we care and will work through this with you. Blessings!

Me too Karen. Take your time and work hard at rehab. I know that things are very difficult, but we are all praying or sending up healing energy for you.....

Jason thank you from the bottom of our hearts for posting on Karen's behalf. We truly do appreciate this. It is awesome that you take the time to come here and update us, for this we thank you very much. Karen has so many people on this forum that care about her. She has contributed in many ways here.

 

Oh yes, I am sure the emotional aspect has taken a toll and probably is to be expected. It has to be very frustrating for her with the communication problem. I do hope she is able to get into speech therapy soon, this will help her so much as you already know.

 

Please tell Karen that we want her to hang tight, keep her faith and we expect her back on the forum once she is on the mend. She is a very strong lady for sure. Please give her a big hug from all of us here at Healing Well and tell her she is in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery...Susie

 

Karen, Oh honey, I hope you are doing better.  I know that having a stroke is so difficult...you know what you want to do but have a hard time doing it...So, my thoughts and prayers are with you...

I just saw this post pop up to the top after writing to you on my post! Jason, it must have been you writing it for Karen. Thank you so much! It's always such a joy when Karen writes here, especially for me when it's dirrected to me! She is a wonderful Lady and a big part of our CP Family. Karen. I always listen to what you tell me because you always seem to have a great answer for whatever I'm whining about at the time, so this time> You have to listen to me! Do everything they tell you to and get well sooner that they expect!!! You are a tuff Gal and we're all behind you! We need you back here with us but don't hurry, get better there will be plenty our our problems to fix when you get back!

Hello Karen & Jason,

 

Had you on my mind and wanted to drop in and tell you both hello. Oh I saw your post to Pete and you are one awesome lady. You keep up your hard work and fight, its going to pay off in big ways.

 

This place is behind you know about 500%, thats some cherrleading team yo have going on lol. Be sure to update when you see your dr.

 

I think everyone on the forum is having bad days and good days but we are all looking so forward to spring and sunshine. When the sun is out I make it a point to go and just stand in it. I am like an old, if my neighbors wouldn't call the cops on me, I would probably be like my dogs on the ground rolling around lol. I have to have my sun or my batteries lose their punch.

 

Woke up with an awful headache and sick at my stomach. Thinking its a sinus/allergy type one. Everything is blooming out here in Tx and yellow pollen has everything covered. Our trees are blooming out like crazy.

 

Gotta get off and go lay down a bit. Wanted to pop in and check on you....Hugs, Susie

Its woderful to se e all again. I did sone walking around yestday it was very sunny and prety outside. Cant do much for now posted another site this morning. Just wanted say how much I love you all. you are the bestest.
