Hi Suzane,
I've had Chronic Pain for Seven years. Since that time, my life has changed
100 %. Nothing is the same but love for my husband. That has grown.
Unfortunately, I don't think both my children understand what it is. How
could they?
I have had so much help on this forum. Laughs too. There's nothing like
just bopping along at 3AM and running into a funny post. Kinda shakes
me out of some of the pitying that has been keeping me awake.
I believe that each of us has a responsibility to get our message out to others-
a letter to the editor, a congressman/woman, the president!, the mayor.
I keep saying it, but I don't work very hard to accomplish my goals. Right
now I'm working on a short article for My Turn in Newsweek. It should
be easy. (ain't!)
These are the "real people" I speak of, Chutz. The people, the publications
that might really take action to make life better for us now ... or for the
future people who carry pain on a daily, hourly basis.
Breast Cancer with it's pink ribbons and all the publicity has really come
along way. I suppose it's a more serious issue because people die. But...
people die of CP because of the stress (and other darker reasons) Ok ...
Off to do Paragraph 3. I'm trying to do a paragraph a day. I think it's
800 words like a newspaper column.
