First let me say that I have been moved by the outpouring of support I received, Its nice to know that there are others going through this ( I am sorry that somany are) and that I am not alone. I have not been able to talk to family and friends about
this. But I must say that my wife is trying her best. She gets mad at the doctors because she thinks that there is so much more they can do and don't.
Let me give you some more info about myself.
Meds: Morphine Sul. 30 Mg Twice a day, Amitriptylin 10 Mg two at bedtime, Celebrex 200 Mg one per day, Lamotrigine 100 Mg One in morning and two at bedtime, Baclofen 10 Mg one in morning and two at bedtime & Amitiza 20Mg two twice per day.
For those that asked I did inform my pain Doctor about my falls and he increased Baclofen an my Lamotrigine. But it seems not to be helping.
The implanted spinal cord stimulator seems not to be living up to expectations. Its like an internal tens unit. I have to have it turned up so far that it causes my muscles to react so that I can't move or have trouble moving.
I have tried methadone but had a reaction to it. ( lost days at a time and could not function.)
There are days that I have so much pain ( and meds don't seem to work) its hard to get out of bed which causes more pain and not worth it. I strugle so hard to function.
Also for the one that asked me about TIA's Before I became a truck driver I spent 20 years on an ambulance. and I am sure its not TIA'S, I am on Lisinopril to guard against TIA'S.
I have tried so many different typs of pain medications and none seem to control my pain.
Since this was a workmanscomp injury I have spent the last year in court to receive compansation. I applied to SSI Disablity and have been turned down. I am currently apealing it.
Again it was so nice to hear from all of you and I hope to be a regular member and supporter.
Thanks Again !
