I am in, need of Advice PLEASE

Howdy Folks,

<!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_1621445--> I still do not have a doctor. So if I do anything on my own, I will have to pay for it. So what I need to ask is, what is the chance that I go to a Doctor some where close, take all my scripts and films, and paper work, and explain what going on, what chance do I have that a Doctor will right me a script for metadone, to help me threw the with draws!
I will be very great full for any and all advice! I realy don't want to go to the ER, because I don't have that much extra cash!

I have gave up on the system! they do what they want when they want. I don't know if my Attroney is so busy, that he has all his legal aids doing all the work, and they don't know how to get it done! If that isn't the problem, then that tells me that i am just pawn in a big Chess match!! Things in America have been getting worst the last decade, i hate to se what this next is going to hold foe us!

Ace, I am also not sure what kind of advise to give you. It is a sad affair when many addicts can get the scripts they need and people who are trying just to deal with the pain to get through life can't get the medical care they need. I would say that if you have any friends that know a doctor that can drop a name for you that might make a difference. If nothing else, just take a chnace to get in and be upfront and and trust that the Dr. will help. Like Pete said, what do you have to lose.

Ace, I just wanted you to know that I am hoping that you are able to find the help that you need. Hopefully, you will. I would think with the documentation you mentioned that it could happen. Good luck to you. And let us know what happens. You have our support.

I might be completely out of line here and please forgive me if I am talking through my a@#$ but in Canada, we have a universal healthcare system and if you are a citizen, you can go at the ER as many times or see your Doc as many times as you want, it won't cost you a penny. Of course our system is not perfect, but regarding $$, being a CP sufferer and at the rate I have been popping pills (much to my desdain believe you me) I'd be in under debts by now.

I am not saying move up here. You much have a lot to leave behind. Maybe just apply for a dual citizenship or something like that. I will freakin' go and pick you up at the airport for Pete sake.

Sorry if I am not making sense, I really don't know you nevertheless I so would want to help you the best I can and it is the only thing I can think of for you right now.

I thank you both very much! Tomorrow I am going to call my Attorney again, and see if the court can order this Doctor to wean me off this drug! I havn't had a day since Oct.23, 2002 that I wasn't in pain! I can't imagine the with draws that my drugest said I will go threw!

I'm not sure what medication you were taking, but percocet might help with the withdrawal. I have to go find the rest of your threads to see what happened and what medications you were on before I can answer more.
