Hi CS and welcome back. I am so glad to see you posting again. I am sorry you are still having such a hard time and the injections seemed to not help much. You know thats the trouble with those injections, they hurt like the devil having them done which adds to the pain level, and rarely do you ever hear of someone getting relief. My first pain mgt dr said he would never recom them to his patients because most of the time they don't work, said it way for the drs to pad their bills. I thought that was pretty interesting coming from a pain mgt dr,.
I will be of no help to you on the financial situation except be extremely careful of those credit repair companies. So many of them are nothing but scams. So do your homework, check them out with the Better Business Bureau. Bankruptcy is a whole different piece of pie. I know how each ones works and for some its the only way to get things back on track. Just be sure to pick an atty that handles bankruptcy ony if you decide to go that direction.
You spoke of wanting your claim settled. I did alot of personal injury claims when I worked. Just remember that once you sign the Release of all Claims you are relieving the other party and their insurance of any future liability to you. Its always in the person's best interest to be pretty much finished up with their medical care and treatment before attempting settlement of a claim. Each state has whats called a "statute of limitations" which means the claim must either be settled or suit filed in the proper court before ths statute date runs. Some states have a 1 yr statute and some have a 2 yr statute. If you have an atty working on this then he knows all about this.
Anyway, wanted to stop by and say hello. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
