Hi Babycakes,
Yeah this twilight movies are really taking off, how was the movie?
Do you have the books?
Great to hear you are getting out and about, friends and lunch sound just great.
Try not to spend to much money! i know how hard that is with all those great summer clothes and bathers.
Plenty of sun where i live, i am around the corner from the beach 25 to 33 degrees the last week, but we get a cool sea breeze so its not as hot as inland and other major cities.
What colour was your hair before? its always nice to change your hair, I am a hairdresser and my daughter is always bugging me to cut and colour her hair, i really enjoy tranforming peoples hair, its amazing what a good hair clour and cut can do for you, also lifts you up!!!! My daughter is a beauty therapist, so i bug her in return for nails and make-up etc...
Ok i got my x-rays back and saw my Dr, not good news at all, to be quite honest it has really made me feel down and out, but i will get over it and just have to cope as best as i can.
I have secondary degenarative disc disease, disc spaces are and have narrowed severly. also have formed osteophytes- abnormal bone growth on the spinal joints, axial rotation- twisting of the spine. Vertabrae T8, T9,T10,T11, have lateral wedging
In the lumbar spine there is also a curve to to the right in addition to the 45 degree angle to the left in the Thoracic.
I am now seeking the opinion & options of a Orthopeadic Surgeon, have been refered to a PT that specialised in Severe Scoloisis.
Patch is still not effective, my Dr said to leave the patch on for another 7 days and use Codeine ( Panadine Forte) , then after 7 days up the medication (Norspan Patch to a 20 mg). He said its all trial and error with the meds. If none of the above are effective in treating CP, he will then discuss what other meds may be of benifit and will seek advise from a PM Specialist.I explained to him that whilst i understand the meds need to be increased slowly, this is very difficult as i basically have to put up with the CP pain, until something works. My Dr made this following statement " at least the pain is not worse" i am speechless.
Enough of my whinging, i just have to take oneday at a time, but that is so difficult when you are in Chronic Pain.
I will keep you posted.
Cheers from DownUnder
