We all have these kinds of days - but wow am I sorry yours hit so darn hard all at once.
First, in an attempt to not loose your mind, try and keep the multiple problems that are all hitting at once as compartmentalized as humanly possible. While all the problems do add up, the more you keep them separate the better you'll cope.
Nerve damage is rough, especially depending on how severe of damage we're talking about. Sort of like a wire that's shorted out behind the dry wall in your home, there's days where the connection works just fine, and others where the current runs flat and nothing gets through. While I understand the frustration your experienced in not being able to attend the game, I'm proud that you were on your way. That's proof enough that you're not going to stop living even though life is throwing you more than one curve ball. Keeping this attitude will always give you the highest scores so whatever you do, don't stop!
Unemployment battles are being shared by so many and I'm sorry this is one more thing added to your list. With governmental budgets being strained even harder than before, it's like the whole system to slowing to a crawl thus creating even more problems. Now I just hope that the news is right and that unemployment numbers really are on the decline and that businesses starting hiring once again so we'll have more money that will get the economy even stronger once again. Take care, Bob.
