I just came home from the hospital where my sister in law passed away tonight. She was my husbands only sibling and it was unexpected. So keep my family in your thought and prayers and thank you all for being a wonderful family here.

Hi Kay,

This is not something else you needed plus the heartache of losing someone you care for is such a shock to the system. I'm so very sorry this has happened. Please know that my nightly prayers are with you and your family. I hope your husband is handling this well but I'm sure he feels the loss also. It may give him some time for reflection.

You and your family have my heartfelt sympathies. Loss is tough enough, but when it's unexpected the shock to the system can be significant.

I hope you all have some resources for support available to you. Sometimes even funeral home directors can be wonderful as they often have training in grief counseling. I will send gentle healing thoughts your way.

Thank you all for your heartfelt sympathies. Chutz i just wanted to thank you for your words of wisdom and right before this happened this evening i think my husband had already been doing some soul searching. We talked about his health and he agreed to letting me make him an appt. so we'll see. thank you all again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so painful at any time, but I agree - that it's even worse when it's unexpected. Please extend my condolences to your husband as well. I will keep you both in my prayers tonight....

I am so sorry for your loss Kay, and for your husband. What a terrible shock to lose his sister so suddenly. I'm sad for him, and for all the family and friends who will miss your sister in law.
