Well... Its been busy a start to the week for me. My vision is getting worse. I was told that the tissues degenerating and the cells are stripping in my eyes some time ago. I have "pepper" and "grey shading" through out both eyes. I was told a number of things to "watch out for" and to call immediately when they happened. Well, the flashing is happening more and more frequent. So *sigh* I guess I will call the eye surgeon at some point. He is a blessing, don't get be wrong. He removed my cataracts and gave me synthetic lense. Did the laser twice to remove "hardened protein" in both eyes... just that I have gone so long barley being able to see, I am just not in a hurry. Really, if you were in my shoes, with everything else going on, you wouldn't be in a hurry either. I haven't even been able to drive in a year and half due to my vision.
The tinnitus isn't so bad any more. Besides, it is very cold these days it is nice to sit next to the dryer and read. Speaking of reading, thank goodness I have a kindle with "text size". I would be very upset if I couldn't read on top of everything else.
The deep pulling and pain in my thoracic is rather intense this last week or so. . I told them I would call if anything came up and I don't want to break that "trust" by putting off the intense pain. ..on the other hand who on earth would want to have their secondary thoracic dextroscoliosis & Primary progressive thoracolumbar levoscoliosis assessed just before the holidays? I would rather wait until after I have had my holiday fun to get my new cobb angle measurements! Still.... I take an awful lot of medication and I am not quite sure what is going on that is so bad to bring 10+ pain for little 3 days spurts in my thoracic. Bleh. I need a body vacation.
My hips and knees are doing okay. I am very pleased to report that my new at home program is still of tremendous help to my hips and mostly left knee. My walk, or so I am told, looks much "smoother". Everyone has complimented me on it so I am sure they are telling the truth! I will have to try to make excess candies and chocolates this year for the physical therapy team to show them how much I appreciated all their help.
Last, but not least, my non sleep. 3 to 4 hours of sleep with 5-10 waking periods isn't so bad. But, fully waking after only 2 and half hours is making me a little angry. My body needs at least 4 hour of sleep once every few days. I don't find this very fair at all. With little ones to tend to and everything happening to my body, I am rather upset that I have been stuck with little more than 2 hours. I sure do hope things go back to 4 hours. I promise I will never complain about my 4 hours ever again if it could just come back!
