Having surgery Thursday

My doctor today decided that I need to have surgery this Thursday.  Ovarian tissue left from February 2010's surgery regrew into a functioning ovary, complete with the hormones of menstrual cycles and everything. With all the adhesions in that area, surgery was the only option to control the pain. This may repeat itself many times, or this may be the last time it is needed.

There are good things though, like its outpatient surgery, there will be no more acute pain, it may end the ovarian issues, and it is months before the wedding so there is time to heal and feel better.
I didn't want any more surgery after the 5 smashed into 8 months in 2009-2010. Guess it is not in the plan.

      Good morning     I hope you are able to rest as much as possible. You have been through a lot these last few weeks (more like months!). I hope, that this helps at the very least for a long stretch of time. I do realize that the chances of you needing this done again in the future are.. rather high. We will keep you in our prayers and hope that this time, is the last time you have to endure through this surgical procedure. Stay strong and know you are in our hearts.

It is here, and I am as ready as I am going to be. Yes Dani, you are right. This probably will not be the last time I go in for the same surgery. It may happen over and over. I am at the point where waiting is done, we have done all we could under the circumstances, and when the sleeplessness and pain does not stop, then surgery with a glimmer of hope for relief is welcome. I bet many of you know what I mean.
