BUTTERCUP IS BACK WITH US

just another update, sorry for all the posts!

well today i was in just sitting with my gorgeous buttercup, i was talking to her just about everything then as i was about to leave i held her hand and just told her how much i love her and get better we are all thinking of her but will give her time to rest and get better, and i went to stand up i felt a little squeeze at my hand!! i was so happy, hopefully this means shes starting to come out slowly.

just thought i would share this with you, other than that theres no change, which is good news i guess, no worse!

lets just keep praying and hope she will be back with us again soon, i know she can do this shes a fighter

    First off, thank you so much Maddie for keeping us up to date on our dear little Buttercup.

     If it were not for you we would not have any info. So please post as much as you can.

        Wow, I have tears in my eye, that little squeeze she gave you must have given you goosebumps eh!!

      Keep talking to her hon cause she can hear!!! That's the first sense to come back.

        I miss her so much and want her back dearly. I loved our chats together and i miss them and her.

         I continue my daily praying for her and have asked God to give her strength to get thru all this.

            She will be back of that I am sure!!!

What fantastic news :D

I was kept in a medically drug induced coma for 2 weeks or so a few years ago and once they stopped the meds and allowed me to come around it took me 2 or 3 days to pull myself back to the point where I would consistently respond and then it was another day or 2 before I didn't feel like I was 3/4 of the way drunk.

It takes awhile before you start feeling like your brain is firing on all cylinders. Also do not be shocked if she ends up talking about things that really happened while she was in her coma as well as things that didn't but still seem real to her.

I do not recall if her coma was induced or natural and I don't know if it happens to people who are in a "natural" coma but I can tell you from experience the drug induced ones can produce some really vivid "dreams" as well as hallucinations, etc as you struggle to come out of it.

Anyway I too am glad she is back and hope that everything from here on out goes very well.

Buttercup is more alert now, still feeling a bit zoned out and yuk but have a some conversations! shes feeling pretty down but she doesn't know why, i'm not sure if thats just what happens or it could just be everything finally hitting her, poor kid. but so good shes awake now!

Can you pass on to Sweet Buttercup that I am thinking of her and she is in my prayers. I know I can not hug her so you will have to do it for me, gentle (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) just for Buttercup. Please let her know that we all can not wait for her to be chatting with us on here again soon xxxxxx
