Numb & painfull feet> wish it was my head instead!

Back to me feets! For a couple weeks my feets have been going numb while lying down and get worse when I satnd up but only for a couple minutes then slowly goes away! Then just the other day, my left foot went from numbness to excru****ing (s/p!) pain!!! I mean it hurt! I started hitting it w/ a big spoon to help it> yea right? So anyway it scared me pretty good> most things don't! so I called my doc and made an apt for today> Couldn't go yesterday, I'd already planned a fishing trip w/ Captain louie!!! So I splained to the good doc about my hurtin foot and numb feets and asked him what he thought???  Right away he said I think it's related to your lower back problems!!! Of course being one of those peeps who automaticly goes to the internet to look up all the stuff that can be caused by numb & painfull feets I started asking him about gout? No I don't think thats it cause you have no swelling and gout is usually localized in the joints! Hmmm, what about diabetese? No you just had your blood tested. Yes but I was at the higher range> 101 & the top of the range was 100 on the sheet??? No we don't evan start to worry till your at 121!! Great! How about my thyroid, I mean the lack of one> had mine carved out years ago!! Nope, your meds are working fine! Then I asked the doc, how about a clott, what I was most fearful of???!!! Nope> I don't think so cause w/ a clot, the pain would get worse when you started walking!! Not the case w/ me! He said he was glad that I asked so many questions and that I was so concerned about it and called him!! Then he said that he was pretty sure that it was something to due w/ nerve pain associated w/ my lumbar problems and I should talk to my pain doc next time I see him and take it from there???

I must say it's a load off my mind that my wife isn't going to wake up tomorrow morning and I'm not gonna!!! Now I'll just add it to my ever growing list of "broke parts to get fixed" and not worry about it for now!!

So Mikey, we slayed the fish yesterday!!! Redfish, seatrout, spanish mackeral & sharks all on flyrods & topwater lures w/ spinning rods!!! It wasn't evan that hot, overcast most of the day and got totally soaked by a lighningless storm which we didn't outrun in Capt. Louies flats boat! I would a lost that cloud w/ my boat> Ha! The cool rain felt great anyway w/ the only problem being the dreaded wet itch *** on the ride home!!! 

All for now, gotta go cook for my Nephew & his Sweetie who are coming up for the weekend for some scalloping & fishing> WAHOO!!! Life is GOOD!!

              Sorry Buddy!...I been under the weather bad here...new meds!   I'm jealous!...not about all your new health problems.....but the fish you caught! Actually!...I'm happy for you getting to fish and with such success! I hope we fair that well when we come back for a visit this next year! I'm saving my pennies!

    It sounds like you did you're research on the foot pain and numbness.....I bet it impressed your Dr!

Hey!....the weather is starting to cool down here! It was 51 degrease this morning!   Too cold for a bike ride that early in the morning for me! Time to pull out the winter jacket and give it a cleaning.

     I think I told you, but I have an enlarger prostate gland, and am now on med's to see if that will help empty the bladder better at night. The Dr has me on two new med's, and if the one works, we will try to trim off some of the pain med's. So far the jury is still out on it, and I just had the dose upped, so its going to take some time. I have my fingers crossed though.

      Glad to see you posting....and keep that boat in the water if you can. We will never forget fishing with you! It was a highlight of our Florida trip for sure!

How goes the battle this week? anything new? I was wondering if you are on any nerve pain meds, like cymbalta, lyrica, gabapentin, which might help your pain since there is some nerve pain??

I sure hope you are having some better days. Is that temp. down there cooling down yet?

Any fishing trips this week? LOL
