Felt really poorly over a year ago - dizzy, headaches, earache, pain over eye, pins and needles in hands and foot - just feeling as I 'wasn't there' - felt like something was creeping over my head - real state - doc treated me for depression but I pressed for a MRI that he said I didn't need - came back fine

A year on and 2 weeks' ago awoke with a 'knocking' in my ears - ever since then have had ear and headpains every day. Still my doc thinks it is a depression but I feel worried again by these symtoms - feel really down

Welcome to the forum Nicola. Glad you found us but sorry that you are having this pain. Have you seen any specialists to rule out anything, such as ENT, neurologist, orthodontist to rule out tmj. Those are just a few to get you started.

Let us know how you are making out. i can add more as time goes on as i have been suffering with constant headache for twelve years and have done much investigations etc.

Nicola....Welcome to our HWF, it is nice to meet you.

Do you have pain in the joint of your jaw which is TMJ upon opening real wide? When you close your mouth does your back teeth touch together or is there a space between uooer and lower jaws where your molars are at?

Does your eustachian tube that goes down the side of your neck sore?

Im running out of questions to ask. Lol If you could add some more symptoms and what type of doctors you have seen perhaps other members could add there two cents worth.

I have seen a neurologist, had an MRI scan done although the neurologist and my doctor agreed for them I didn't need one, it was just to put my mind a rest. The MRI scan came back fine. I went 8 months clear and now all my symptoms are back again and the doctor just thinks it is tension headaches and wants to treat me for depression.

I have pains in my right ear and on the right side of my head - sometimes have slight pains in the left ear and a headache but not so acute. Don't feel dizzy as such but I have the sense of being off balance and feel off colour. Returned to my doc and he looked in my ears and said he couldn't see any infection and he just wants to treat me for depression but I want to feel well - I feel very low
