Hey Gang, I think most of you know that everyone is encouraged to meet and greet any new member that pops on here at the forum. You do not have to wait on a mod to show up and be the first one to greet a new member. By one of you seeing that new post and popping on and telling that person hello and welcome aboard, that may be the nicest thing anyone has said to that person all day, so please never hesitate to greet someone.

Mods do not have set schedules here at the forum, we come and go at all hours day and night. So, if you see a new person, please be sure to take a minute to tell them hello. Supporting each other is what this forum is about.

Well said! I remember... almost 4 years ago... when I first came on the forum and was warmly greeted by so many.

Also, all of the mods here have pretty significant health/pain issues, too. And there are times where we are all struggling at once.

I will make a more conscious effort to greet new members when I am on the forum. Thank you for the reminder.

Gang, Our mods do so much for us, keeping us in line nono , boosting us up when we are down tongue , greeting new members smilewinkgrin, and being generous in donating their time to see that the forums are supportive, caring, and informative places to be.

Here comes the Pep Rally speech! Lets all make an effort to say hello, welcome, and support to new members who post as soon as we see them, please?

Thank you Susie for the reminder and all you do as a moderator. Tina, SE, Jim1969, and all the other mods that I can't remember right now (thanks fibro fog), we appreciate all you do for us everyday catching spammers, help to enforce rules, and keep this forum the wonderful place it is.

You all do an excellent job! yeah Just wanted to remind you both that you are appreciated too!

Our forum runs smoothly (most of the time!) because we DO have great mods AND wonderful members. Healing Well and this forum has been a huge blessing for me - as it's been the support network that I've needed....many, many times.

Thanks for the reminder...I think since I stayed logged in many times overnight....it may seem that someone is here when I am sound asleep...So I need to remember to log out when I'm gone.

But I would be delighted to welcome in new members whenever I am here.

I always stayed logged in on accident, lol... usually overnight, too.

Anyway, thanks for the help. You often are one of the first to greet and help people. It's appreciated!

I think all of us at one time or another has stayed logged in all night and when we woke up it was with the keyboard imprinted on our foreheads, lol.

Hi Susie, thanks for that great reminder, I also remember when I first joined in March2011, I think, I received a very warm welcome and knew I had found a place to call home.

I appreciate all that the mods do, it cant be an easy job, I for one dont think I am cut out for it, my mouth would get me in trouble quickly.

I think the mods do a terrific job and if we can help out in this one little way I would be happy to. It is hard to admit to ourselves let alone others that we might be having a problem .

I will try my best too...I am new and it was such a blessing to have so many kind and helpful comments on my post...everyone here is great..
