undiagnosed: excruciating pain near

I am 45 have a history of pain since childhood. found out at 24 had only one kidney ant it was being blocked by very small stones which was releived by ureter dilation X 4. Menstration pain since onset doc said it was in my head nd normal only to find out after hysterectomy after 20 years that i had the worst case of enometriosis ever seen by lab. now i have reflux and mid back pain. that coincide it is exhausting and taking a toll on my life. have been to ER four times in past two years only to be told that there ia nothing wrong with me. finally got medicaid for three monts went to gastro he said my stomach lining was red but didnt seem worried now pain is much much worse wonder if i will wake up in am waiting to throw up blood feel that way every day. I get up and go to work because i have no choice have a child to support. my reg docs who i have see for 14 years have now labeled me a.drug seeker and refuse to seenme only because they cant figure it out. pain is in lowest part of sternum where ribs make a v right by my heart goes all the way to my spine. feels like burnning and bruised. im at the end of my rope. feel like i will have to be bleeding or close to death before anyone cares including my family. i drive around looking at other people wondering if they are hurting as bad as i am. just want some sympathy or even better suggestions by the way i have tried everything exercise homeopathic, narcotics, which by the way work but no one will give me more than 20 hydros at a time and hen when i ask for morw six monts later want me to go to a pain clinic without finding a cause. i honestly feel like i will be diagnosed with cancer but only when its too late. i have many more isses and test results not mentioned here but all are not quantifed my medical persons. sick of only feeling good when i have pqin meds for a week. i dont want to be addicted to meds but would rather that then the pain im going through. any suggestions or insight would be appreciated please keep in mind i have no insurance and cannot afford much. thank u all

the pain in your chest sounds very familiar to whst I had ..I will tell you about mine and you can tell if its the same...mine would come out of nowhere a stabbing pain that was riggt between my breasts and went all throung to my back stabbing pain that I could not get away from no matter what position I tried seemed to happen to me in the eveni.g I have no.idea why then but I don't think I ever had it in the mornings..but I may have I just know it would start out of nowhereand last for hours a lot of time I would take 4 ibruprofin and go to bed with a sleeping pill and the pain would be gone by morning...in april of 2009 I started having trouble swallowing and had endoscopy done and my GERD had scarred up.my esophagus and I also had barretts esophagus ( its a pre cancer tbing) I had radio frequency abalation for the barretts and also my espgagus dialsted so I could swallow then nissen fundo operation to prevent the gerd and the pain has quit I have not had it since then.....I see that you did have your stomach looked at when was thar? was the pain as bad when you had it done? I know how awful it is to have no one really understand how awful the suffering is I am going through that with my back and have been since 2003 its so depressing :-( ...oh I was also put on a very strog acid medication called dexalent I guess it did help better than the prilosec ...another thing I know that generic prilosec did nothing for my GERD So for now if I wad you I would try the name brand and see if it helps more than the generi s ..

Hi mimimac, welcome to HW. I tried to read your intro but I'm sure I missed some. We try to break up long paragraphs to make it easier on our eyes. I am sorry you have not been diagnosed with the amount of pain you are having.
I'm sure someone else will pop in soon maybe they will have an idea. I also commiserate with your need of medication, it is wrong to be hurting so badly with no help.

I had pain like you're describing and it turned out to be my gallbladder. I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I can sure understand that and I know it's no fun at all. I also understand about the no insurance and no money situation. Are there any clinics in your area that have you pay according to your income? That's where I go right now because a doctor visit is 10 bucks. I hope you feel better soon :)

Becareful with Stomach medicines then can cause low B-12's level which in turn can lead to nerve pain, so supplement
B-12's when taking stomach meds for long periods.......I've been on and off stomach meds for over 15 yrs and they
have depleted my B vitamin's to the point of causing me some nerve pain.......well wishes and look for free clinics in your
area....
