Had my xrays done on Friday 6:30 p.m and they did hurt. Then yesterday made it thur an asthma flair, happened out of the blue. Wednesday is my cp visit, wish me luck, now to rest up as that flair yesterday took a lot out of me. And computer is not up yet looking for case fans, good quiet ones...

I survived the boys' birthday party, with 32 guests showing and a lot of help from family and friends. It was a wonderful day for it too, but overdoing it has taken its toll. I feel pretty bad, so I am resting. The boys have dentist appointments on Wednesday, and the rest of the week is free and open. Lots of time to rest and recover. I hope everyone else had a good weekend, and that there are low pain days to come for us all.

SE, I hope that you find the patch brand and strength that works for you. I have always had the plastic tape-like kind from Mylan, and you are right about oil free, hair free skin and be on smooth skin. I also have trouble if its on an area that has a lot of movement.
Tina, I hope you feel better and rough times are short.
Kaely, I hope this week is an improvement for you.
Chartreux, I hope that rest brings improvement, and that the doctor's appointment goes well.

I don't post often so I hope no one minds if I post here. It's been such a rotten week. The pain clinic I waited a year and a half to get in just wiped their hands of me after trying 2 injections without success. When I asked if they did more like manage pain medication or can offer any other treatments to deal with the pain the doctor just said no. He said to forget about looking for a cure and just learn to live with it. Not the kind of answer I was hoping for after a year and a half wait.This weekend was Father's day and was hoping for a relaxing weekend but it just wasn't meant to be. I had to attend a family function and ended the night with my youngest daughter having stomach pains and spent the next 6 hours in the ER only to be told she was fine and come back if things get worse. I know I have a lot of things to be thankful for but some days it`s just so hard to see it. Sorry didn't mean to ramble on. Anyway thanks for letting me get that off my chest. I hope everyone is doing well and wish you all the best. Thanks.

That's terrible! Is there another PM doctor you could see, and maybe find out beforehand if they manage medications, and do other things besides shots/telling you to deal with it? Sometimes I wonder why some doctors even got into medicine in the first place.

Six hours in the ER! It's so hard to see little ones sick:( I hope she is better. I'm sure that was tough with your pain as well. I'm glad your daughter is okay. I'm sorry that you're having such a hard time.

I'm sorry that you're having a difficult time too. Yes, I think that antidepressants can do that, and also they can take a few weeks (if I remember correctly) to really help. Maybe someone else can chime in about that. I hope that you feel better soon, and they start to work.
