Hey all, thank-you for all the kind and encouraging words. We ars settled into the Marriott, it's a very nice place. We gat here later than we wanted, but the dinner was well worth the wait, a doubledouble animal style from in-n-out burger, with animal fries. For those of you that are not in-n-out savey, that means the burger is grilled with mustard, and they grill the onions, and double the spread, and other condiments. I've been wanting one for months, but I live 60 miles from their closest restaurant.
Free Wi-Fi at the hotel, and my phone tapped right in, and I've got my step dad set up on my laptop watching tje news lol. I just got out of the hot tub, that was great, felt all of the muscles in my legs and back just totally loosen up, though now, my left leg is really jello, I think half of my little stability in it has been relying on the muscles being so tight.
Anyways, I've got my phone, and the hospital also has free Wi-Fi, so I'll give you all a status report when I'm coherent enough to. I have to be down at the hospital at 5:45, so it's going to be an.early morning. They said no pain meds after 4am, but also said the.anesthesiologist approved for me to receive a shot of demoral as soon as they have the IV in, delauded if I don't take any meds after midnight, but I wont get much sleep if I do that, and I'm supposed to bathe in the morning with.hyblicans, so that will be a real bear if I tried to hold out for the other med. I figured whatever, I'll survive either way.
Surgery was scheduled for 7:30, but the hospital never received my lab work from the doctor, so they said unless he brings it, they want to run my blood type, before they start, not sure how long that takes, but they implied that there's a possibility of slight delay because of that. Figure I'll try to get a call in to my son if there's a delay, since he's not usually up until 7 or so lately. I know they're going to do a quick blood draw when I get there, but the intake nurse that I talked to said the Lab sometimes takes a few minutes if it's not an immediately needed transfusion.
Anyways, thank-you again everyone, I'm a gonna try to get some sleep, and hopefully, I'll catch you all tomorrow evening.
