Morning Chartreux,....as soon as I got home, I had to leave and get a haircut, and by the time I got back.. I was feeling pretty bad, ...almost sick to my stomach. So I laid down in bed as is normal with me, and the next thing I knew it was time to go to work this morning....so I missed your post last night.
A friends passing is one of the many things in life... hard to find comfort for. Especially the waiting. Our minds fill with memorable personal times of fun and sharing, often making the pain harder to deal with. I went through this with Privey, a member here that only a few would remember. I have to share that she has a facebook page, and a few of us here still post on it from time to time. Her husband and grandaughter just stopped by the house the other day for a visit...and even then my eyes fill with tears as we visited.
Chartreux, many of us have been through this experience in life, and it's not easy on the heart. I'ts a time that we feel all alone with our feelings. I'm sorry you are going through this in your life right now, and please know, like many others here that have shared with you....I care and offer my heartfelt sympathies to you, as you wait and then go through the grieving process.
You can never take away memories of the past between the two of you, those are a gift that you can treasure for ever.
Bless your heart, as you go through this grieving process, both prior to and after.
