I looked at the pharma's webiste:

It appears to differ from the other versions of Tramadol ER in that it is a capsule filled with "beads" -- like Kadian's delivery system. I believe that the purpose of this system is to increase the rate of passage of the med out of the stomach and into the intestine. By doing so, it can reduce nausea.
It is about as expensive as the brand Ultram ER, whereas the generic ER's are about 20% cheaper. If tramadol hasn't caused you nausea, then I don't see the benefit of conzip over the generic.
