I know in your line of work, meds can mean such am incredible liability, I was subbing at one of our middle schools, right after my gastric bypass, and had taken some day quil, and as I was driving to the school, started to feel drunk and completely loopy! Didn't realize at the time that it was dumping, I felt awful though, so I had to call in and they had to have another sub come in. I stay away from dayquil now lol, that feeling always lasts for hours with that. .
I have heard that cough meds can do that to you. So far so good for me with dumping in general, but I did buy a diebetic cough syrup last time I needed something just to be safe.
I am always worried about
meds during work. If I am in one building I will take a half dose if needed. But if I am traveling I wont even do that unless its really bad. Honestly, thats the point I have been to recentely. Years ago I was on Fentora, which I could tolorate very well with no side effects/ impairment whatsoever and good PM with 200mcg. But my new insurance wont pay for it. Maybe its worth appealing again. In any case a change may be in order, I dont know.
39 days down, 141 days to go till summer break, lol!
