I'm assuming you're asking what is the highest dose that someone can safely take at one time, since the questions about
available strengths are pretty easily answered with a Google search. Questions about
what amount would be safe for you, have to be referred to your doctor, none of us here are qualified to answer that question, also, your doctor may have a better, more responsible, plan of care than just putting you on a very high dose of that medication, as there are other medications, as well as other modalities to relieve pain.

Just FYI but the new recommendations for Acetaminophen in medications has now gone down to 325mg for the max. People may still find they get the old ones that are higher at certain Pharmacies that have older stock still around.
This doesn't affect the Hydrocodone dosage which is correct at 10mg for the highest in one pill.

A compounding pharmacy can make a 15mg capsule. Insurance won't pay and expensive.
Most orders are for folks who can't tolerate Oxy or anything else.

10mg in any brandname product ex:Zydone 10/400. it can be compounded to any dose but over 15mg per dose becomes a CII.

Thanks SS, I knew they could do the hydro did not know about
the other ones. They also leave out the acetaminophen which is a good thing. Also get why it would move up in class as its straight hydro and the ones I've seen are always capsule form. Wouldnt the drug dealers and addicts have a hayday with that?
I saw them used primarily in oncology but have heard others being prescribed.
I love this, learning experience you get from the boards. I'm a firm believer in knowledge being power and its the one thing as CPers we can utilize to help ourselves get the pain relief we are always searching for.
