I have a stim 2nd one and once again I cannot sit up against anything or lie down. I'm limited to sleeping on right side which is side of stim. It is overwhelming painful and I am almost at wits end of all of this.

Hello and welcome to HW. Maybe if you can give us a bit more information about
your history and surgeries someone may have some suggestions for you.
Are you referring to a spinal cord stimulator? Did you have a replacement? Is this a new surgery?
There are many very helpful and knowledgeable people here on the CP forum. Always willing to give suggestions and lend an ear to vent to or a shoulder to lean on.
Hugs,

Hello and welcome to HW.. I also have two simulatrs implanted. unfortunately i cannot sit back against anything or sleep on my back either. Its very uncomfortable. I normally just turn the stimulation off when i sleep. Im on muscle relaxers and sleeping meds. That way i can try and sleep through the pain.
Yeah it dont always keep me asleep because the pain is brutal. At times the stimulation will even make my legs kick on their own.
TO me though, i think i would rather live with not using it at night. I can handle the few hours that im in the bed, as long as i have pain control during the day. Maybe there is someway that your rep. can work with your programs and try to help with your situation. Good Luck to you Janet

Welcome to HW Chronic Pain. Sorry you are in so much pain all the time. Perhaps you can tell more of your story so we can understand what you are dealing with.
Good luck, and never give up hope.

I would suggest you to visit a chiropractor to get rid of the chronic pain, may be he can help as my brother had got a lot of relief after visiting one. And the best part about
the treatments is that they are non-invasive and do not have any side effects too.

Hello Tricia,welcome to HW forum.
Sorry your having a difficult time.
I would not recommend a chiropractor with a stimulator. Only the Dr that did it would be the first person to see and if thats not possible I would be seeing a Board certified Neuro.
Chiropractic medicine is not the way to go when nerves are involved. Normal stretching exercise is ok under normal circumstances and not something as this.
You will get many here that have a time and should be able to give you some great advice.
Just wanted to say HI and welcome.
Vickie
