I'm hoping that someone else from SC will chime in because I truly don't see anywhere that SC changed their law to make Hydrocodone a Schedule II.
Usually there is a lot of information when a state passes a new law and then the day it starts...and with all the literature that I read weekly about these types of things I haven't seen this with SC.
For example..it's easily listed on the NY health.gov site about the Hydrocodone:
Effective February 23, 2013 the following changes will be made to the controlled substance schedules in Section 3306 of the New York State Public Health Law. Where applicable, some common brand name pharmaceutical preparations containing the controlled substances are listed in bold:
Schedule II Additions:
•Hydrocodone (dihydrocodeinone) (Vicodin®, Lortab®, Tussionex®) This action renders all products containing hydrocodone, including but not limited to hydrocodone in combination with acetaminophen or ibuprofen, Schedule II.
I'm not trying to be a jerk with arguing and happy to concede I am mistaken:) Just looking for a link or information that states this law. I'm truly just wanting to make sure we have the proper information for those reading or are new to the boards.
***Does your Lortab have refills listed on the bottle David? Or do you have to present a hard copy prescription for them each time?
