Methocarbamol...

I know I haven't been around here in awhile, if any of you actually remember me, but I have been having some new issues/symptoms that I've never dealt with before and it's kinda' got me on edge.

Before I say anything else, I'm not saying this is caused by Methocarbamol. Bolded the 'important' parts if it's too long

Recently, I've been having joint pains (which is nothing new for my hips/knees) but it's been in my hands, wrists, elbow, and shoulder. This I am not used to, especially since I am rather dependent on my arms. I woke up one morning and my hand was so swollen I couldn't even move it. It still hurts, every day, especially at night, but it's not AS swollen as it was, just a little on my finger joints.

I'm going in for X-Ray on Monday, but I doubt they'll find anything. I was taking Methocarbamol about a month before this occurred so I don't think it's related to that but has anyone on it had the same issue? Some of my friends and my primary doctor said it could be arthritis.

Some days it's so bad I can't even move my arm/hand and it's like in an invisible sling.

Arthritis is certainly a possibility as is fluid retention and probably a dozen other things.

I have had mild arthritis in my hands for a few years ago. Nothing major, just enough of it to let you know it is there. Here recently though it seems like it worsened overnight as well as spread as now I have that same pain in my just about every joint in my body. Fortunately it is still mild enough a couple Ibuprofen twice a day pretty much takes care of it.

I can thank my Mom for this. While she has given me a lot of great things during my life this is one thing I wished she had kept to herself....LOL
