@Spinal Soldier: Thank you for the information and support, I will look into those supplements as the Oxy takes away the endorphines as we all know.
For all: As a matter of fact I was 45 minutes early for my appt this morning with hopes of a cancellation. ;-) No luck but the "Desk Dragon" actually apologized to me for being a, well, you know.
She explained DEA requires longer than 28 days after a Narco 'script
has been written before another can be written.
I asked why it was so difficult for the Doc to call me to provide that simple 2 minute "if that" explanation then provide alternatives OTC. She told me to address that with the Doc.
BP was and has been way too high, hoping was just anxiety of the situation I was in. Will be keeping an eye on it and if needed, will start juicing red beets for a week.
Doc appreciated my Police Report.
He stated since the 15mg Oxycodone HCL was so close to the ER dosages he was putting me on the new DEA approved Oxycotin 30mg. Stated this was a cellulose pill that acted as the carrier for the medicine. Offered a slow even release without the "high after 30-60mins" then tapered off as the original formulas. Also stated when crushed or cut it turns to gell to prevent abuse. Pretty cool I thought.
I told him about
member's reports of the ER only lasting 6-8 hours and would only accept the ER with IR Oxy for break-through pain. This time he did not fight me.
He lowered my Cymbalta back to 30mg from 60 since the sweating was so terrible and really did not make much difference from when on 30mg.
Still on Gralise; lowered dose of Lorzone; 'script
for twice a week acupuncture; gave me a man hug and said he will surely miss me.
Said was good I had a new facility back home lined up, "DEA is starting to frown up on cross state line Narco 'script
s and this would have been my last visit to him."
Told him about
getting rotator cuff surgery lined up back home. He said since my MRI showed a minor tear he would do his best to prevent surgery, wrote a 'script
for PT for 3 months to strengthen the shoulder and included lumbar and thoracic strengthening. Said he had 3/4 tear cuff in the Military during training, did pulley pull down exercises and was good as new. I think I will take his advice before loosing out on 6 months of my life to surgery if I can help it.
Drum roll time------- Once I got 3 5mg Oxy HCL onboard and they started kicking in it was only a matter of about
an hour and a half before I started feeling better. Was like a switch was turned on inside me and I felt like doing a jig.
Thanks again everyone. I will keep in touch and please keep in touch with me. I consider you all a part of my family now.
