Sunday Funday!?

Since the weekend is challenging for many of us and the boards can be quiet and intense I thought we might break the intensity and monotony by having a Sunday Funday!

Im going to ask everyone a few questions and all you have to do is answer. Its a kind of way for everyone to put on their thinking caps and share a sneak preview into who you are outside of your pain.

If you could wake up tomorrow and be anything you want, what would it be?

If you could change one thing about the world we live in, what would it be?

What was your favorite cartoon as a child?

My dream job would be to be on the radio. I even went to broadcasting school and was voted "The most entertaining on-air personality" of my entire class.

If I could change one thing about the world we live in... I would do away with people harming each other and children, the elderly... Everyone. I know it will never happen and it actually seems to be getting worse but that is my wish.

My favorite cartoon growing up was the smurfs. They would play it on Saturday mornings for like two hours and I'd watch it all! I also love all the cartoon Christmas specials. I still watch them!

I would like to be a successful artist. To end suffering in whatever form it appears in. And My favorite cartoon was always "Johnny Quest" with the "Flintstones" a close second.

If I could wake up in the morning and be anything I want, it would be........the person who creates the treatment that would cure my fiance and others like him.

If I could change one thing about this world, it would be.......all of the hatred/intolerance.

My favorite cartoon as a child was......Roadrunner/Tom and Jerry (tie!)

Oh I wish I could go back to working as an EMT. Out of all the jobs I've worked this was the one I loved!

Well I won't get political in this one. But I'm a huge animal advocate. I'd love to see laws change to make the commercial breeding of animals aka puppy mills illegal.


I have so many favortie cartoons as a child. Heckyl and Jeckyl, Casper, Betty Boop, Mr Magoo. My kids look at me like I have 2 heads when I talk about the cartoons I used to watch. Of course back then cartoons were only on Saturday Mornings. Back in the days of getting the rabbit ears in the right direction and applying alluminum foil to them. lol

Oh God yes, yes! I miss the black and white cartoons! I forgot the name of it but remember Natasha and Boris? I also liked the one with Sherman and his time machine.

I was never much of a kid who watched "cartoons" so my experience is limited. Maybe "Mystery Science Theatre 3000?" I was one of those little dweeby, dorky kids watching science programs

My biggest "fantasy" would be reading a sci-fi novel while riding one of my horse bareback. I always brought extra!

I always felt there was something "wrong with me" because I didn't want to, (wasn't physically able to) engage in the sports my class mates were doing, either because of severe pain, inflexibility, total fear!!

Then came my "swan" moment when everything fell together. I'm losing that pretty down, soft feathers, and the webbed feet are cracking....but the ole noggin is vigilant, comparatively speaking.

The ball game is now "Survival" and a form of "Dodge Ball," avoiding the boo-boo causing surroundings.
