I didn't even
know there
was a flu going around. Hubby got it, or some version of it, a few weeks back and kicked it in a few days.
It obviously felt the need to linger in our household and hijacked a ride into my body, and decided to linger around for a bit. I don't think I've had a flu that lasted a few weeks before.
I've chalked it up to (all happening at the same time): "The Move" into our new house in a new state, Husband's cold, a reaction to a statin being introduced to my med list (didn't connect the dots to the muscle aches and weakness) which has been d/c for a week now and I'm feeling better (thankyouverymuch), and temporarily reducing my BT meds to get a new baseline, sans statin....
And you know, just general stress that goes along with all these things occurring at or around the same time. I wake up every 2-3 hours coughing, so not so great on the sleep front either. Keeps me exhausted.
It feels like that visitor who stops by un-announced and doesn't know when to leave.
True, Vickie,....the mere thought of a cyber germ! Gives a whole new view of the word "virus" now, doesn't it?
