I know this is fairly old, but I felt the need to respond. lol I have had the exact experience with these. Thats actually how I found this thread. Looking to see if anyone else had a problem. They simply do not work as well, if at all. They are very inconsistent. One will even taste different than the next.

Hello 91GT & welcome to the chronic pain forum. Yes, you are right, this is a fairly old thread with no current activity on it. We do ask ask new members to make their own separate intro post so that all members will see it & be able to give you a proper hello & welcome aboard. Just thought I'd add that Mallincroidt(also known as Mallincrap) also has similar problems. It really depends on the person, which generics work for them. Unless I am wrong, generics can have a 20% difference in the active med and still be OK to sell. Granted 20% might not seem like a lot but that is 1/4 of the medication. I ask for brand and my doc puts brand necessary on my scripts. I also know Watson is usally a good generic. There are so many more now a days it's hard to keep up. I haven't even heard of half of them.
