Since my pain gets worse & worse throughout the day & I'm only allowed 3 a day, I haven't been taking my first dose in the morning when I wake up. I'm trying to wait it out but it's getting to that point now where even when I stand up my back just can't support itself with the pain in it. I have been up for 4 and a 1/2 hours before taking my first dose. Just thought this was neat that I was able to tough it out longer than I thought I would. I do wish I could have toughed it out even longer though.

Ooops, I think I waited just a tad too late though...my back, fractured hand & hips have been excalating on the pain scale but it seemed to have jumped from a 6/ 6 1/2 to an 8 within seconds....does this happen to you guys?

Yes, the pain can do that sometimes. I also think that the stress of knowing that you're going to be in more pain that you expected right now is making it worse. Sometimes it's one minute at a time or one hours at a time instead of one day at a time.

Yeah, sounds about right. I have been noticing my pain acts up most when I am sitting.

Yes sometimes it does happen to me to. Sometimes the best thing I can do for it is to take my pain medication at regular times instead of on a as needed basis.

Jim, yeah I was doing it that way, but then I would need it on as needed basis too so in order for me to not go over my 3 a day I have been trying to wait it out and do as needed or I'll break the pill in half & take half at regular times then when I really need it I'm able to take half or one since I hadn't gone over my limit.
