Hi Misty, I have been under going nerve testing the last few days at the VA, in fact I had EMG and Nerve conduction studies done, they did both my legs and feet Friday and finished my legs and feet today along with my hands. I was told Friday that I had severe neuropathy in both my feet and legs, and after today they told me that my weakness and numbness and tingling and neuropathy was definitely not caused by my back, but it by my brain. They did an MRI of my brain Friday but the report has not been released yet.
Often my legs and feet burn and feel like they are heavy when I walk. I also have numbness and tingling in them, and I suffer from charley horses or muscle spasms something fierce but not just in my legs and feet but just about every where.
Have you had any testing done, to see what is going on with your legs? Also does any other member of your family have problems with their legs? especially at night? Restless Leg Syndrome has allot of these symptoms, along with the shaky feeling. Have you discussed any of this with your doctor? Might be worth your time talking with your doctor about this.
Good Luck to you!
