What's everyone planning for Memorial Day weekend?

This has been an extremely busy month for me and I'm paying dearly already! Daughters 16th birthday was last weekend and she had a "camping weekend " of course Mother's Day lunch brought an end to a good week last week and My daughter and her family are in from Texas last week and will be here through Memorial day. Yesterday all of them and all my children that live here had a family reunion and celebration of my son, grandaughter, and my birthday coming up the first 2 weeks of June. We all went to Disney Magic Kingdom, even though I spent from 8 am to 11 last night on a power scooter my rear is dragging this morning!! I've got pain in places I forgot existed!! I would not have missed it for the world!! However I feel ridiculous spending that kinda money!! Lol little do they realize a free day at the beach would have meant just as much as long as I got to spend the day with my kids and grandaughters!

Very overpriced park in my opinion!

Hopefully I can recuperate before next weekend!

Everyone have a great low pain week is my wish for today.

Things have been going ok here...my incision from surgery looks really good and is healing nicely. I haven't done much as I don't want to go backwards after coming this far.

No plans as of yet for memorial day weekend....my mother in law usually does a picnic every year on that day but it seems the weather is always cold, windy and rainy so maybe she has decided to wait till the 4th of July this year as I have not heard anything yet.

Tomorrow I'm off for cervical MRI and XRays.....

I understand that it is not uncommon, if one has spondy (among all my other issues) in the lumbar spine, the neck's going to eventually be symptomatic.

So,....looks like another adventure for me is in order.

I had one of my routine med adjustment appointments last Friday. We decided to put me back on a time release medication. So I've restarted Oxycontin. I definitely notice the increase in pain relief. I'm hoping it lasts for a while. And I plan to enjoy it while I can and do some things I've been putting off!

Med rotation can be a pain in the butt...but when the process works...it's wonderful. More relief from less mgs!

I hope everyone had a great weekend and is going into this week with the least amount of pain possible.
