Sorry to read you having a difficult time right now. I am not sure what your injuries consist of. Is there a specific reason you have been out of meds for 2 weeks?

Welcome to the chronic pain forum and I too am sorry to hear your having a flare. I have extreme problems with my bp as well when my pain hits those high notes and I believe it happens to most and is a sign most drs can see.

Not sure why your waiting in the parking garage and that can't be too comfortable at all. Possibly getting your own b/p monitor for keeping a check on it at home would help. They're nowhere as expensive as they once were and fairly simple to use.

Hope you get relief soon and home.

I picked up an old-style home bp unit with the stethoscope and air guage.
I can hear the systolic, but cannot hear the diastolic when it comes through.
I would recommend one with a digital readout, although they cost at least twice as much at $60.

thanks. im in that grey area, between jobs. no insurance. no certain plan. My doctors told me to try for disability, but ego and pride have me trying one more time. I am trying fetzima- and must keep track of my BP because these Fibro- drugs seem to give me arithmias and BP problems. Fetzima is not helping pain, but does keep me from the jumping off point. My meds are low because im waiting for a drug test for a job. besides, i was just barely making it. marinol costs me 900 dollars with insurance. but main reason- Last time i had drug test lab dr call me-interrogating me for the THC in the marinol. She said that its only prescribed for people who are dying. that its impossible that a Dr would give me that unless i had AIDS or stage 3 cancer. i shut her down, told her i dont need t o give her any med history, that my RX number will do. she called later and said she would report a passed drug test.I did not get the job, but my mind keeps saying it was because of that THC. Then I began to believe her- that I AM dying. That something is terribly wrong...
I try to get off all the meds every once in a while to guage what my body is telling me anyway.
I have a final interview tomorrow in ST. louis. I'm not feeling well. the pain is sucking the confidence out of me. The drugs that work for the pain get me all LOOPY. Maybe i'm not listening to my doctors or my body. But my ego and pride. But here we go again...
