It's not uncommon for many of the opiates to make you a little itchy when they kick in, but it should dissipate.

If you develop a rash, hives, fever, etc., then definitely get to your doc's.

I can't imagine it's a reaction to the hardware....I mean, me personally, I've never heard of it. But like always, it's best to ask your doc.

If your body's going to reject hardware, it usually involves symptoms other than itchiness.

Usually if you do that itchy thing with morphine you will do it with oxy too and it will either get better or worse and sometimes you have to find another opiate altogether.

Hopefully it will clear up.
