Hope everyone had a good weekend with little pain.
I didn't have too much pain over the weekend, but I did have to take my BT med a few times. If you aren't already aware, my wife left and is staying with her mom right now. This happened back in the beginning of December, 2014. I think she is just frustrated by my condition and maybe just couldn't handle it especially since there was nothing she could do to help. I think she was just overwhelmed. We had a date Saturday night at a nice restaurant. I gave her a couple roses, one dark red and the other white, when we got to the restaurant. We had a good meal and we were there for around 2 hours just talking. I got a nice kiss from her as we were leaving
It had been since the beginning of December since we had kissed. That was nice and she was saying she will probably be back home within the next month.
I'm having an EUS with biopsy on Feb. 5 so that my doctor can see how much the tumors in my pancreas have grown or if there are any new tumors. I am actually hoping they have grown enough so that my surgeon will go in and remove them.
I have an appointment with my PM doctor next Monday. I have a couple things to discuss with her at the appointment. Since the Cymbalta is doing so well, I am going to ask her to start reducing my Klonopin a little at a time to see if the Cymbalta is helping with my anxiety/Panic disorder. I am also going to mention that I still have BT pain at least once a day and the Tramadol no longer helps with the BT pain when I take it. I'm assuming she will want to raise the fentanyl patch from 50mcg to 75mcg or maybe she will drop the Tramadol and try a stronger fast acting opioid. I guess the options for that would be Oxycodone, Morphine IR or dilaudid. I really don't want to take anything stronger than Oxycodone or Morphine for BT pain right now. I didn't mention Hydrocodone because it makes me really irritable and gives me a headache.
I hope everyone has a low pain week!
