I recently quite smoking, about
3 months ago, although technically I am still 'smoking' by vaping. The cool part is i'm getting nauseous from the amount of nicotine in my eliquid, so my body is starting to take over and saying 'hey! this stuff is kind of gross -- can you take a step down? Kthanksbye.' I'm now lowering the amount of nic but adding no-nicotine flavored liquid to my vaping unit. Apparently this is the normal process, and folks find over time that their body is turned off by it and they step down and down and down until they no longer find themselves addicted to nicotine.
Not sure if you have tried it (it's kind of an expensive out of pocket way to go), but it's been really painless but I don't smell, I don't have the nasty cough, my 'nic fits' are really far and few between (to the point that I feel like they MUST put something else in cigarette to make them so addictive).
My husband still smokes and he STINKS when he comes in after lighting up. Blech.
