I have been experiencing awful pains in my sacrum, Trisha where thespians joins in. This has been occurring since my second Xofigo shot, about
three days after the injection. That would make it ten days now. I just gotta blood draw this AM for my upcoming MO appt. this Thursday where I will ask her opinion. In the meantime, any ideas guys? . . . Q

Hey Q don't borrow trouble thinking Mets when your rife with spinal issues that certainly can cause the pain. When have you had the last scans of the lumbar area? It is highly possible that you could have some degeneration at S1 since this is the most common vertebrae to collapse or degenerate due to the extreme load it carries from being the bottom of the spinal column. I would ask your doctor to get a look by scanning the area before worrying about
Mets.
Keep us updated.

Thanks,
VICKIE, my last bone scan was 4 months ago and all was clear, the last density scan was about
the same time with the same results. I'll be due for another bone scan in 2 months so I can check for a compression fracture then. I do have osteoporoena of the spine so that is a possibility. Also, I placed this post incorrectly, I thought I was on the PC forum, duh!
Di43--- the kitties are taking excellent care of their daddy, thank you for asking!

Mornin' Q...Sorry to hear about
this extra pain you're having. Indeed, that L4/5-S1 pain can be a doozy. I hope your MO has some answers for you, friend.
