I received a brief message from SisterPam. She is pretty sick, started out with a very bad sore throat & then a domino effect took place. She is currently battling viral meningitis.

So keep her in your prayers please.

Thanks, Susie...I've missed her posting, and asked about her in the Monday check-in.  I'm sorry to hear she's feeling really bad.  I truly appreciate your letting us know her situation.

Pam...Take good care of yourself, so this doesn't get a stronger grip on you.  I would bring over chicken soup, if I could. Know that you are loved and you are missed.  Looking forward to better days ahead for us all.  The sun is shining here today!  cool

Thank you so much for letting everyone know. I've been checking so often to see if she has posted that I feel like a stalker.

I'm so very sorry Pam that you are having to go through this. I will send prayers, healing thoughts, and love to you.

Susie if you get a chance to speak to her again, please tell her she is missed.

Oh my goodness, sending healing thoughts. I have been legally deaf from viral encephalitis I contracted while pregnant in 86, any treatment other than palliative would have endangered my unborn child's life so it was definitely a tough and long lasting recovery. I feel pretty adamant that most of my spinal issues are residual to the viral attack it underwent. Glad she was diagnosed quickly and hopefully healing now.

I received a another message from Pam yesterday & she is slowly getting better. Its been a long haul for her.

However, her son is having some serious health issues, so please folks add this family to your prayers, they need them very badly.

Pam is missing everyone here terribly but she is not in the position to be hanging out with us right now. I told her we just want her & the family to get back on track.

When I was younger I had a fall from a very high place,hit my head,and was pronounced clinically dead.I was gone for 16 minutes.Yes there was a light,I felt the presence of loved ones and I wanted to stay.My point is this,and I know Pam will get better,when we are at our lowest,feel desperate and alone,take comfort in knowing that we do have a loved one looking over us.So glad Pam feels better.

Prayers for her and her family. It seems when we are at our lowest and think things couldn't get much worse life shows us it can!! May she find the peace and strength to battle all that's being sent her way today.
