Hey Guys, I don't post here too often, although I do read about
your struggles daily. Being one that also lives with chronic pain I feel so close to each and everyone of you. I am dumbfounded by what some of you go thru, and you have it so much worse then I do. Which is one reason why I don't post here too often, as some of you have it so much worse then I do, I don't feel justified in posting my complaints. However being that I've been reading your stories since I joined HW in Nov of 2014 I feel like I know many of you personally, and I thank you for posting.
Now to the point of this message, lol. Most on the anxiety forum, know I am a HUGE advocate for mindfulness, I'm always posting links to mindfulness video's to our members over there. However, I just started a chronic pain course for 12 weeks, it is centered around John D Otis book Managing Chronic pain. We meet every friday, yesterday was our second class and we did abit about
mindfulness and breathing and we spent about
3 minutes just doing breathing exercises and it helped relax me so much. I then thought today that I would look up mindfulness videos on youtube for chronic pain and want to share a couple I found that I liked. Know that mindfulness isn't for everyone, it takes alot of practice but it does help so many people out there, I think it would be selfish not to share about
it.
This is a short 5 minute video, try to listen to it all and see what you think, does it relax you any?
