For me , I have to have music , it's like air to me.

So if you could pick a song that is you. One that you say this describes me. Pretend it's the end of everything and you want to let people know who you are , which song is it? And why?

The song changes through our life naturally sometimes it changes weekly.
For me lately it's has been Pink Floyd "Comfortably Numb" .Because with chronic pain and depression it just strikes a cord ( pun lol) with me.
When I miss my little sis it's companioned with "Wish you where here."

What gentle heartfelt people we are! I love the sentiment found in both and thematically similar. Lifting others up.
Perhaps the burden of an illness softens ones heart , there is hope

Also love the song "I Lived" by One Republic.
One of the members has a friend with Cystic Fibrosis, and his life inspired the song.

Mine is A Better Son/Daughter by Rilo Kiley. I really related to it when I had to get up and go to work every day, and be a wife and friend and daughter, and try to put a smile on my face and pretend like everything was okay, when inside I was really NOT OK. That was my anthem and I'd sing it really loud in my car, and then I'd feel a lot better!

I do that too like therapy to sing loud in my car on to/from work and everything is rosy.
Music is so important to the expirence of being human. Because when we are gone maybe in the ruins of civilization our music could tell the ones who come next who we were, what we felt, how we saw things, the real intangible stuff that we can't just leave an instruction book things that are terrible and wonderful. We all have that song that spoke to us as if a ghost where there pointing going that is you buddy. I really wanted to know what everyone's is because I am an armchair anthologist and a pain detective. Thank you everyone they are all totally awesome songs. Any one else?
