Pelvic pain after procedure

Morning Y'all,
I had a procedure last week ((got IUD removed and replaced with a new one and they were kinda rough when they did all this and it hurt alot.))

i also have a mass on one ovary and in the process of getting all this done it is now hurting alot and feels swollen and like it is going to pop. should i go to the doctor again, i am worried it will pop and it is filled with blood.

just reaching out since i deal with alot of pain conditions and it throws me for a loop when i have things happen with my female system that i am not ready for.

BunnyGirl86 Definitely at least call your doctor and explain your concerns (just as you did in this post) the pain the swelling and the worry about the mass. If you still have pain and concerns after talking with your doctor or if you cannot talk with your doctor or his nurse, then you might consider going to your local ER if you feel your situation warrants it!

Above don't just let it go without at least talking with your doctor about it!

Getting an ultrasound to see what's going on isn't a bad idea. It may have already burst and that could be why you have increased pain. The 'bad news' is there isn't much that can be done. The body will just have to absorb whatever fluid is now free. Pain management is about the only option that I am aware of. Still, get it checked by ultrasound.

Doctors had to take out the IUD and i was indifferent to it, i was pleased because it was out and i was in less pain but i was sad that i had failed, i felt like i had failed and had ANOTHER SET-BACK. I now have since started my period and a flare for my fibro and my back is KILLING ME. I was given many options for how to solve my heavy flow and iron issues while also handeling birth control but they are all invasive to treat my issues and also they are thinking i have endometriosis. I am still in alot of residual pain due to all the "rooting around" but i will survive.

please send good thoughts as my hubs and i try to make this decision together.

This form of BC is not for every woman. The IUD's come with a laundry list of potential problems. There are thousands & thousands of women out there that cannot tolerate them, so no, you were not a failure at all. I had one when they first came out with them & nearly bled to death in a weeks time. I ended up in the hospital & had to be given blood. This is going back to the 70's so I see they have not improved them much over time.

I would be looking into better BC options.
