Hello & welcome to the forum. Something I learned personally many years ago, going into to see a dr with a long list of complaints got me no where. My dr would say, we have to handle this one thing at a time. So, I would start with the most pressing thing & go from there.
You do present with some different things. What I can tell you is, millions of people are walking around with bulging discs & have no idea they are there. They will not know they are there until they have an event that would warrant having an MRI of either their neck or back. You mentioned foot & leg pain, along with radiculopathy. What dr diagnosed the radiculopathy? I seriously doubt the throat pain is the culprit to all of this, probably a coincidence. The lump that disappeared & same with the lump by your ear lobe. These things would have nothing to do with a disc.
You will have to wait & see what the dr says about the MRI on your foot. Swelling of a foot could be a number of things. Have you had any lab work done to make sure you are not deficient in anything? Have you had lab work done to check your vitamin levels, such as vitamin D? Low vitamin D can cause joint pain & several other issues.
What has the dr offered you treatment wise? Has he/she mentioned physical therapy, exercises or what? Was has the dr recommended that you do? Sorry for the questions, just trying to get a little more info.
Take care.
Thank you! Over the past 2 months I have been taking it step by step with different test. All of this started with throat pain that would only get worse when I would have a beer or so. I went to the doctor who did a X-ray and said I had hyperflated lungs, so she ordered me a CT of the lungs. A CT scan of the lungs showed nothing was wrong. A following CT scan of the neck w/contrast showed my neck was fine. I then started experiencing plains throughout my body right after. A MRI of my spine and neck showed radiculopathy and I’m starting my therapy for that this coming week. Here’s the thing about
this. Weeks ago I discovered what appears to be a lump on my foot, near the tendon. I had a following MRI(yes a lot of test in a short time) of my foot and the guy doing the test said that there appears to be fluid. I have to wait on the official test results from my doctor. All of these hitting me in a short period of time has creeped me out. I am low on vitamin D and currently taking pills for that, so I didn’t want to stress myself out but this is a lot for me, a 26 year old, who has dealt with health issues for awhile.
