dis retirement

what's going on with soc/s. i'am letter carrie and have been off since 10/8/06 from a acc. off the job. last pay check was the first one in january of 07. i file for soc/s and for fer's dis. at about 2 months ago. ok here's the good part i have not heard from anyone at all. but this week theres 11,000 in my checking from SS. i guess i will hear something in the mail about this, but something sure happen real fast from somewear. i needed that.

any of you people know what happen here so fast.let me know please

RDA, I had thee same thing happen to me. I nearly fainted when I saw that money in there and I knew it had to be a mistake. If you will look closely at the deposit area it says SS in there somewhere. I finally called SS and they said I was approved and that was my back pay. But, I never got a letter from SS saying I was approved, although they said they sent one. I had them to send me another letter saying I was approved. Susie
