hi all,

i found this website last night , i was hit by a drunk driver 14 years ago head on. I was in PT for 2 years on and off. Throughout the years i saw doctors here and there for help when i needed it. For a couple of years i was ok , i just dealt with the pain. NOW is different . I have 5 herniated discs, with 2 being really bad, I have bad nerve damage in my right leg and bad degeneration on my lower spine, which is why i broke my coxic (sp) 2x. Anyway i am possibly going to do the surgery route not sure yet. Well its good to be here and hi to everyone. By the way we live in NY and have 2 baby girls. Hi Michele and welcome to the site. I am also a new member with a couple of posts under my belt now. I have nerve damage in my left leg which resulted from surgery. Are you able to walk and get around OK? With two baby girls I know you have your hands full. I have two boys and one girl ages 24, 21, and 13. I love my boys dearly but little girls have a way of stealing their daddies heart. I hope and pray you make the right decision and can learn to live better with your pain. I just recently had a neurostimulator put in and I think it will help with mine. There are wonderful informed people on this site who have a lot to offer in the way of advice and friendship. Hi Michele and welcome! Sure glad you found us. This is a great place to be able to talk and get support from others who understand. I'm so sorry about the misery you are in. Surgery is a hard decision to contemplate. I wish you the best.
