urine test info. help plze

 

My Pain Dr has asked me to take a special type of urine test at a outside lab

Ounce a month I take a urine test suddenly he said the urine tests I have taken for a year do not test for Oxycontin so he gave me a lab slip to get a urine test at a outside lab  on the lab slip he wrote Urine Drug Screen H P L C

My question is what is H P L C  I know what the Urine Drug Test is but never herd of H P L C can anyone who knows please explain what H P L C means also please dose anyone know why the Urine Test I have been taking every visite dose NOT test for the Oxycontin I a perscribed and what is it testing for only drugs of abuse

Needless to say this has got me rather upset

Please anyone who know s and can help me with any information on this please help

I've been researching gcms since I got an email from webmd (great site) that oxycodone doesn't always show up and also an article that says 10% of lab tests are wrong. cheesh! So I'm going to ASK for these two tests if I ever fail a test...and ask in ADVANCE my gp said. That way you are safe! unless you have something to hide like illegal drugs or not taking your oxycodone or like that...so BE GLAD you have a caring doctor! Alot of docs DROP/FIRE patients once a failed drug test happens instead of trying to find out the TRUTH! There are no laws that they HAVE to give you these tests. Too bad! Am I allowed to ask what state you live in? You can msg me if you want to say. Then if it's in my state and I ever DO get dumped maybe I'll have some place to go that cares about the truth. I BELIEVE my doc will...but don't know yet...have to ask first.
