Hello everybody,
It's been awhile I guess I haven't been on much lately. It really has been slow here as of late or is it just me? It's not like the old days is it?
I wish I could say I am doing well but I've been having more pain in my feet. It looks like my PN has come back with a vengeance. So has my hip pain. I also seem to have blurry vision, dizziness, headaches, brain fog and weird chest pain. I am starting to think it could be pleurisy as I've this dry nagging cough too. In the past I was having glucose issues and having similar symptoms they stopped and now it looks like there back. I have had glucose tolerance tests and of course did not do well. So It was decided that I was diabetic or at least pre-diabetic so I exercised changed my diet and after awhile I lost weight and started to feel better. Unfortunately, for me I didn't keep up with the diet changes so I think it's finally starting to catch up with me. The good news is I still exercise but I don't think it's been enough either that or something else is going on. I haven't been able to check my glucose as I've been out of test strips and do not have the $$ to purchase more at this time. They are ungodly expensive!
Then there's this weird rash on my arms and hands. I swear it looks like dermatitis herpetiformis but who knows. If it is sure would explain the way I've been feeling. I have been tested for Celiac Sprue before but the findings were normal.
If that wasn't bad enough I am so very fatigued. it is so bad and it is making my college experience a living H*ll but I'm determined. Voc Rehab is paying for it so I can't complain. I do want to get off SSDI but only time will tell if I can
I only hope that my appointment at the Lahey clinic this March will help shed some light but I am skeptical due to all the other appointments gone bad Including Brigham's and Womans hospital in Boston.
I do hope they can help my podiatrist tried to get my appointment moved up but no such luck. She is concerned about
some of my issues such as my feet turning blue.
On a recent visit she was checking them out and they turned Blue
and a dark blue at that. She told me it was Renaud's to which `I knew I had but I've never had anything like that happen before. Normally it just effects my hands never my feet.
So that's it . I hope everyone is well and low pain levels are the norm.
Gramps I know we've kind of talked recently but it is, nice to see you're back.
Take care
