I have been approved to be in the FDA trial for the Stabilimax NZ spine stabilization system
http://www.legandbackpainstudy.com/ When I signed up for this I didn't think I had a chance to be in it but now I really don't know what to do. It sounds like a good device from what I have studied from the web site you see and other places on the net. Whan I talked to the Dr and some pleading with him he pretty much said he would give me the Stabilimax due to not many opportunities to do two levels at the same time and my age and fairly close proximity to his office. But then again I don't know about
being sort of a guinne pig. It will give me much greater mobility than a standard fusion though and it will not be as invasive as a standard fusion either.
Just wanting to know if anyone has been involved in a trial and how did it go? Also just any advice from you who have been thru the fusion process. I went to the pain clinic Dr yesterday and after my epidural he told me that when a person gets bone on bone like I am that on some occasions the verteret fuse on their own, anyone heard of that. Any input or advice would be appreciated.
