I don't know if anyone else is having problems accessing the site today, but I sure am! Took numerous tries to even be able tp post this. I keep getting an error page. I know I have an older computer and browser, and I sure hope the site administrators aren't making changes so only those with the latest technology can sign into the forum. Many of us can't afford the newest stuff (at least I can't!). We don't share social security numbers, for heavens sake. I know Gramps had some difficulties a few days ago. Just wanted the forum moderators to know I was having trouble, and maybe if others are they can also post - or try to!

I have been able to log in, but occasionally after a short while it will log me out in the middle of reading and I can't post a reply unless I log back in....and mine is a "bigger, better, faster" computer.

I think it was yesterday or the day before it kept givingme the error on page as well and even though I had all the headers at the top of the page I had nothing but a blank page otherwise.

It sis that for a few hours and then let me on with no problems except I had to log back in versus it usually already having me logged on.

Must be in the page and tech stuff since so many of us are having some problems.

Having problems made me realize how much I'd miss this forum if I couldn't get to it! Sometimes when "upgrades" are made it results in my not being able to access the site anymore, and that would really be a loss to me. This has become a real godsend - a place where I finally found others who understand, and have intelligent, thoughtful, insightful discourse about feelings and many other things. I've not posted my e-mail yet, but I'm thinking maybe I should so at least if I can't get to the site for weeks then someone could contact me!

You can contact me any time, PAlady!!! I made a special email for this site so it doesn't list my real name, I wonder if you could do the same. I would be lost if I were away from here more than a day. My power was out the other day for 28 hours, between not having my heating pad and not being able to check in I was going nuts!

It's almost like running out of meds! Our supports systems become as much of an analgesic as any other methods we use to help combat the pain.

Same here Mochiah as I made a different email for this site so I could send and recieve mail as I have found alot of folks reluctant to post on the open forum will email someone. Often times there may a topic of concern for us that we dont really feel up to sharing with the entire board at the moment as it may be embarrassing,or personal or just off topic or one of those dont post here kinda questions.

PAlady if you feel the need to email or wish to be open for others to email I would go to one of the free email sites or your internet provider as most of them allow far more mail boxes then we actually use and make a new one with no personal info used.

Ruth, I don't see yours listed in your profile. You're right tho, I have had new members contact me rather than posting if they had a question and have "spoken" with others regarding off topic things.

At any rate, when I logged in to HW today my previously visited forums were no longer "highlighted" showing that I had visited them, so maybe this means things have been reset. I did see a post in another HW forum to the mods to please contact admin to see if they could fix it. So I know they have been alerted. Cross your fingers.....like Ruth said, you guys are my "other" drug!!

It is beautiful and 73 here today and just 2 days ago it was snowing....I'm liking March!

Well darn! I will check it out as I went to alot of trouble to get that email set up so I could use it here and if I can manuever myself to the profile I will get it up there!

I know alot of new folks get a little iffy about posting for all the world to see at first so they like to be able to have a email handy to use first and I dont see where this forum has a private message system as some do so I guess email is what there is.

I still have a little problem now and then with pages not showing up anything but blank and I sign off and come back a little later and it seems alright. Dont know if it is my browser or a tech problem and someone taught me one time about cookies and such and if I can recall those teachings it may be something as simple as changing something on the control panel for me. I also an running on an older browser with a fast updated version of braodband so they fight against each other at times. Hoping to be able to invest in a new puter before long and maybe I can use my rebate check to stimulate Best Buy's economy in May? Lol Hate being on such tight restraints here budget wise. Cant even afford a decent computer for myself.

Anyway at least it wasnt just me and PAlady having trouble.
