Hi all!!!!
I am new and living in Canada. I have as far back as I can remeber have had this chronic pain. I do not know what is wrong with me and it is killing me.
To start with I was diagnosed in 1995 with lupus while still living in the states.
Moved to Canada and married my DH. A wonderful man..
Here my family doctor which if you live in Canada you may be aware a family Dr is very hard to come by. He told me I did not have lupus after first good physical he told me instead that I have Fibro. Well that was a blow after being treated for so long for lupus. I was very active and working. Later on in 2005 He told me after I was tested because of disturbing symptoms that I had cancer in both breasts. I then had a complete breakdown. Mind you I thought I was dying. Well 6 weeks later guess what.........no cancer.......I had extreme anxiety and even went back to work. Well then anxiety attacks came so often I didnt know what would happen. I hurt my knee at work and was off for a while. I also came up on the waiting list for my surgery to have veins stripped and then 2 weeks later my foot surgery came up. Well needless to say I became extremely depressed gained weight. Oh in the middle of all that had emergency hysterectomy. Gods this is long. Well i was off for 2 years treating depression anxiety and post traumatic stress.
I went back to work emotionally fragile. Recently I had an accident at work and hurt my back badly. I am due to go specialist for back on Mon. I am so very depressed again and back to therapy. I hurt plain and simple. I am on oxycodone for pain which screws with my stomach as do any paim meds i take. I am so sorry this is long just want someone to understand and maybe I can find some help thru this forum. Thanks for listening any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have begun to eat healthier and trying to excercise a bit as tolerated. I am tired of hurting.
